Got a '99 Octy Glxi (1.6) and for the last few months have had a problem with the dashboard temperature guage sometimes working (and going to 90 degrees) and then sometimes not working at all ??

When it does work, it will work for a period of time and then return to zero.

Any thoughts on what it could point to ? -- The car doesn't overheat or act oddly in any way.:confused:
