blinded by the lights!

Featured Replies

right then...

i bought some new sidelights the other day and thought it would be an easy job to change the existing ones. however after spending about an hour with no success i gave up. have now found out from the skoda dealership that its a dealer job to change them! now i would love to know, if a bulb blows say if you were on holiday, and mr plod had a word. could you use the excuse; 'its impossible for me to change the bulb myself'.

also skoda sell a spare bulb kit for the new fabia...whats the point?? yeah put rear lights in but front lights are pretty useless.

overall im pretty disappointed with the lights in the new fabia.

if im right in thinking, the octavia headlight unit just pops right out.

sorry for waffling on people!! hope skoda do something about this problem.

cheers

dave

Hi,

To change sidelights all you need is thin, long index fingers and a few trials... ;)

Headlight replacement is easier, you can follow the manual...
