I'm still waiting for that elusive fabia TDI with a busted gearbox to come up. I still have my old one from my 5 speed days.

How much is gearbox?

Might be worth a look if you live nearby but otherwise it makes no mention of mileage, service history or anything else.

Chances are the clutch may need changing too.

on gearbox could be just something simple like if all other gears work - linkage needs ajusting or clutch not quite braking - ie., needs bleeding -

I ain't going all the way to damn newcastle though. Would need to be much more local for me to consider it.
