I decided to remove my bumpstrips earlier, all was going well until i noticed there are bubbles in the paint where they were. Not good. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? Thanks

Not tried this myself.

However, are the bubbles definately in the paint on all four doors? Its not just adhesive is it?

Maybe the adhesive in the strips has reacted with the paint when the car was in the factory and the paint was fresh. I really don't think you have a corrosion issue.

I would be tempted to have the strips painted in silver bumper paint (since it is a different, tougher paint) and adhere them back on the car with suitable, tough adhesive.

There was a few issues with paint on here before. Most people took it back to the dealership and let them sort it out!

Hope this helps!

The bubbles are only on two of the doors, both passanger side doors. The drivers side is fine.

Mines is the same, all four doors.
