How much to lower suspension

Featured Replies

I was just wondering, since day one I have wanted the suspension lowered on my fabia, is it an expensive undertaking?

Any idea on what the procedure is, if not the cost?

Thanks

We sell the springs a few people on here have bought them , as for how long....depends how competent you are i suppose.?

No it isn't expensive. Look on Eibachs website, I am sure they do a kit of springs and shocks for the Fabia II as I know a guy who has lowered his Fabia Sport using Eibach parts. It certainly does look a lot better when it sits just that little bit lower.

I am not in the least bit competent. I would have to get someone to do it for me.

Also, what exactly would I need to supply to whoever was doing it. I have checked out the eibachs website but can't find a Skoda option on the list of makes.

i got my springs from awsome-gti for about £90 for some 40mm konis. i got them fitted by a mates garage for £50, but he had all the kit needed.

That looks nice mole. Are they the larger alloys?

Also does doing this affect your warranty / insurance?

yeah its the fabia3 so its the larger wheels. as for warranty i think it only voids the warranty on the springs/shocks, unless your get skoda to fit them. and you are inclined to tell your insurance of any modification.

We have done about 4 new Fabias they look great especially with Octavia VRS 17" alloys on them!

I've only got the 15" alloys unfortunately.
