I managed to scrape my alloy on a kerb last night :thumbdwn:.

Does anyone know of a good alloy wheel repairer in the Swansea area. Looking in the yellow pages I see that both Chiptech and APS Alloy Refurbishers are listed, has anyone used one of these before?

Also found a mobile service, LVV Repair, they operate all over the sout wales area- has anyone used these before?

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I am going to go with APS in Gorseinon as they are local and talking to the guy there gave me a feeling he will do a good job. He has quoted £45 for an 18" wheel which seems reasonable. Once down I will leave a review on here for others.

It should be steve at APS in a little unit at the back... the guy is a legend he polished a set of porsche teledials for me - amazing job, and also referbed and painted my audi rims black which was a cracking job too plus he's a nice guy and knows his stuff... highly recommended

Sorry to dig this back up but I've just kerbed my alloy. It had already been kerbed by the previous owner so was on the to do list.

I live in Gorseinon so APS would be an easy answer for me. Where in Gorseinon are they and can anyone recommend any other places that are good?

Steve in APS is ace. I've had loads of work done with him over the years.

He is right behind GLC Auto's which is next door to Sinclair Volkwagen.

Does he paint them or powdercoat?
