Recommendations for VAG specialist in W. Sussex

Featured Replies

Hello all

I have my big 4 year service on my VRS in a couple of months and have been quoted by my localish Skoda dealer:

£280.00 Service  apparently they check lots of stuff!

£350.00 for cambelt change

£30.00 for new waterpump although they don't usually change as not necessary for at least a couple of cambelt changes?

Anyway, due to this potentially huge bill I was looking at using a local VAG specialist, can anyone recommend a good specialist near Horsham West Sussex? Also do the dealer prices look about right?

Thanks

Simon

That's the going rate for that work I'm afraid (in West Sussex anyway).

I paid £280ish at a specialist non-franchise for the 80k service.

You'll do well to get it substantially cheaper - but these things are always negotiable - ask for an all in price - you might be surprised.

What about JKM near Portsmouth? Perhaps 30 odd miles away, depending where in W.Sussex you are of course! Top quality work, I've been experienced :)

They have a section on here, as they're site sponsors.
