Post remap clutch probs?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've just got my furby vRS and am seriously thinking about getting it remapped. The only thing stopping me is that I have been led to believe that remapping can cause clutch probs.

Has anyone on here had any problems and if so are they easily/cheaply sorted?

Thanks

Jim

I think it will depend how you drive. I haven't heard of any clutch problems, but if you're planning on doing lots of full-bore starts, then you best get saving for a new one ;) For general hard driving, I doubt it'll be a problem.....

Mine has been fine since the Revo remap a couple of months ago thankfully

Mine has been pretty much ok. Had the occasional slip when really punishing the clutch, but then it is to be expected at those times. :D As mentioned alread, it really is down to how it is driven really.
