Hi Guys This is one for the tech guys

i have a 2001 y reg Fabia 1.9 TDI 100 BHP Model it has been remapeed with a pd 160 intake and green cotton filter

just recently the car lost power and when i try to accelerate ther is a terible wining sound so i am assuming the turbo has blown , however there are no warning lights came up on the dash at all???

would you know what turbos can be fitted dierectly to my model for instance a 130,150 or hybrid maybe

Might be worth getting it read on VAGCOM first to see if any codes are stored.

VAGCOM is essentially a diagnosis tool for reading fault codes from the ECU (It can also do lots of other things). Similar to the machine your dealer would plug in to check for fault codes.

You can ask if there are any friendly Briskodians with VAG COM in your area however your best bet would be to take it to a garage to have it scanned - About £25-£30 round here
