I'm new to this forum mallarky, just thought I would say hi!

I've just brought my first Skoda, its a 51 plate Octavia Elegance tdi 110.

Had an 03 plate cooper s before so keen to get some budget mods underway to 'improve' the Oct.

Just gettin her booked in for big service at the mo but then would like to get her re-mapped (any suggestions would be great).

Prob lower her as well - not sure whether full suspension or just springs?

Hiya.

Unless you're lowering just for looks, change the dampers rather than the springs, or go for the full suspension. It'll take ages to find with the search, but the general opinion is that the A4 Octys are under-damped as standard.

Ive spotted some Weitec Dampers & springs that seem to be really reasonably priced.

Does anyone know if these are any good?
