Door Cards Rattling

Featured Replies

As above, well only the drivers side. Vibrates with any music turned on. Not exactly a life-threatening problem but makes the standard stereo sound worse than it is. If you push upwards on the roof of the door bins, the rattle stops.

It's probably just a case of taking the door card off and tightening something - how easy is this to do?

Owen.

Speaker is fixed to the door frame and the door card rattles against it. I used felt to cushion it.

I ripped up an old sofa we had in the shed - took some of the foam out of it and shoved it up inside the door card

voila

Ahhh but how do you get the door card off? I think it's just the lower section that's doing it...

I just removed the screws along the bottom then pulled the clips away, prised it out a little bit then shoved the foam in, then put it back in.
