Just had my Octavia Vrs Mk1 mapped at Clive Atthowes in Norwich (Enginetuning.net - Clive Atthowe - Automotive Diagnostic Specialist). Well, what a difference its made. I had the trial map sometime ago and have been saving the Penny's for the real thing. Compliments to the team and the professional service they offer. I drove in off the cuff and 20 minutes later away i went full of smiles. Driven gently and an increase in MPG, Put your foot down and Whoooooo its awesome. I was fortunate recently and purchased a SPS2 for £20 off Ebay which works a treat . Prior to the remap i had done a fair bit of research on the forums and had emailed Jabbasport as they are not far away making enquires with them and Clive. The reason i have gone Revo is down to the fact i had swift responses from Clive and answers to my questions but nothing from Jabbasport. Perhaps I'm old fashioned but customer service makes all the difference to me even if the latter is supposed to be supposedly better. Got the remap now i want to advertise the fact so does anyone know where i can get the revo stickers from?

clive also put my revo on my octavia. top class service i take my car there if i have any problems

jus a quick ? whats an sps2???

The sps2 is the little box of tricks which plugs in under the steering wheel (OBD port) and allows the vehicle to be switched from standard to performance mode. It also allows switching between 95 and 98 ron fuel. It also incorporates anti theft so if this is switched on the car cant be started even if you have the key. In this mode the engine turns over but wont fire up. Bargain really as they retail for £200 but has been superseded by a similar box which is called Revo select.

Had my 4x4 done there just over 2 years ago, no problems perfectly happy apart from needing a new clutch. Mate had his S3 done recently - a bit more troublesome but sorted in the end.

Just had contact from Revo Kev and the stickers are on the way Still smiling and I'm amazed at the mpg. Done a couple of runs driven sensibly and its retuning in the 40s. Bonus.
