On my MK1 Octy VRS VAC-COM is showing fault code 17544 - Fuel Trim Bank.

I have found that one of my vacuum hose is split. Is the one that comes off the inlet manifold at the gearbox end and does a 90 deg bend under the bracket to the right of the dip stick.

I called skoda and they said I need part number 06A 145 691 AR (set of vacume pipes) at £48.89 + VAT !!!

Aparently you cannot just buy the small rubber pipe as it is not a separate piece. Is this true - or have they quoted me the wrong part?

Managed to have a good look today. The small pipe is held on by two clips. Replaced pipe - total cost £0.00!! Up yours Skoda
