Just been cleaning up my exhaust tail pipe with a bit of AutoSol and noticed at the back it is starting to go rusty and around the end its pitted, is there any cure for this and/or do you think I could claim under the warranty for this - after all its only 2.5 years old - and been looked after.

Just been cleaning up my exhaust tail pipe with a bit of AutoSol and noticed at the back it is starting to go rusty and around the end its pitted, is there any cure for this and/or do you think I could claim under the warranty for this - after all its only 2.5 years old - and been looked after.

Wouldn't have thought it's a claim as they will probably say that its a wearing part as it gets hot and will eventually rust/corrode.

I get the brasso on mine, seems to come up quite well, i had some rust developing so I just carfully scratched it off with a craft knife and brassoed it and it seems fine so far.....

wire wool and autosol it and polish with nxt metal polish job done
