You need 5 x 100 in those wheels - and the tyres need to be 215/35 R18 - 225/40 is too big for a fabia vRS

You can get TT brakes for around £250, or second hand brembos go for around £500.

SKODA FABIA VRS GROOVED BRAKE DISCS EBC GREEN PADS 1.9 on eBay, also Brake Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 20-Jul-08 21:19:42 BST)

they any good and would they fit straight on or would changes need to be made

saying that i aint loving the gold wouldnt look clever on red

would 17inch wheels be better than with a suspension drop

There was a guy on here and Ebay called "golfturbo" who did full 312mm kits, with delivery miles only, for about £250. Can't see any on Ebay though at the moment.

I personally prefer 17s to 18s, especially if slamming it a fair bit. 17s can use 215/40 R17 tyres which give less discomfort due to thin sidewall. Some have run 18s, but I think 17s is a happy medium.

I paid £112 for some 312mm ones on ebay. Put new discs and pads on for £130 and a tin of green hammerite £5 = £247
