2 Radiators ??

Featured Replies

Evening all,

As the weather was good today, i decided to do some measuring up for my " wide mouth " effect on the front bumper when say somthing that truly blagged my head..

It looks as if my furby has 2 radiators, 1 large one at the back with a slightly smaller one at the front.

Can any one tell me what the front or rear one is as i have never seen this before..:)

Thanx

One is for the air con.

ah thanks for that mate, seemed a bit wierd, still having trouble removing the lower grill

Its removed from the rear with the bumper off.

Small one at the front is the condenser for the air con and the rear larger one is the one for the engine coolant.

Some have another one for cooling the oil but I'm not sure if the VW engines do as they have a oil/water heat exchanger, (Lummox will know )

While we are on the radiator thread, how often do you need to change the engine coolant? just wondered as my fabia vRS has done 70k now?

(just saves me starting another thread).

My coolant has not gone down yet mate, no evidence its been topped up. plus its done 41k

There is no set interval for changing G12+ anti freeze.

Not to worry then
