Green Cotten Replacement Panel Filter

Featured Replies

I've fitted the Green replacement panel filter about two weeks ago to the Fabia vRS & what a difference it makes. Not only is the pick up much improved so is the mpg.

I would definatley recommend this cheap but effective modification.

Should be getting mine in a few weeks.

where do you get it how much does it cost etc.... also does an air filter help a diesel much?

there was a group buy not so long ago, it's when I got mine. Chat to Chris at demon tweeks he will sort you out

Only had mine on since sunday, it's got rid of the dead patch that the vRS had and improved the sound of the engine it's a little more beefy now (or atleast it seems like that to me) as for fuel consum. not to sure yet!

HTH

Mike

does it provide much performance boost? or has anyone had a car rolling road'd with and without ?

had a filter in me petrol polo and that made a nice difference

for about

I take it it just slots straight into the air box rather than being an induction kit

Yep

what about places like halfords will they sell them for reasonsable prices or is it best to wait for a group buy?

Not available at Halfords, and if you want to bypass the queues, buy from them direct at www.needforspeed.co.uk. You'll pay a little bit more, but I received mine in 2 days when the wait at DT and other suppliers was up to 8 weeks :) Mine was quite urgent though ;)

Chris

I take it just using the 100bhp filter ? cann'y pricey to have one ordered from there, I don't need one urgently so I'll wait for a group buy

Spoke to DT on Tuesday 6 july, and ordered mine, spoke to the new guy taking over from Chris,

Nice Bloke , helpful, he had to find out the Briskoda discount and how to apply it, so treat him gently when he is left to himself to sort out the discount.

Was advised, none in stock, approx 10 day deivery, Is that about right ?

n e way, fitting it @ service, done 9200 miles, so service due very soon.....

will see if it makes and difference.

BTW

Am puzzled a bit tho  my code in the book says fixed service intervals, but i havent had the service warning. n e ideas ?

Steve

Ive had mine on for about 14,000 miles now, all good :)

Service should be done at 10k, dont rely on the indicator it may not be set up right, mine come on last week at 15,200 miles, very usefull....not.

...improved the sound of the engine it's a little more beefy now ...

lol it's a diesel it sounds like a transit van as standard !!!

Well maybe not inside but i would not really describe any diesel I've drove as sounding beefy, you just can't beat a good ole' vrooooom tish if you ask me

lol ok maybe beefy wasn't the best word, maybe less diesel like, more of a deeper note to it then :P

It is the 100bhp filter that fits into the Fabia vRS, just drops straight in (only a screwdriver required).

If you go to http://www.needforspeed.co.uk/green/index.htm & you'll be able to find where your local stockist is.

Although the local stockists don't seem to be able to get them in any quicker, so you might as well pay the cheapest price ;)
