Hi, has anyone put one on the fabia?

If so can you post up the pics so I can see how its been fitted

so i dont have to bother googling, what is a carbonio ?

scrap that, i googled it. quite like the carbon engine covers but only seems to be made for the 1.8T engine.

Pretty sure the carbonio needs "work" to get it to fit right. I bought one ages ago and ended up returning it for a full refund as I couldn't see how to fit it.

The BMC CDA is a good airbox to have, but performance over stock is limited. It just sounds good.

Had a look on here and seems a few names have been mentioned who have got one installed, so it can be done

problem is from memory, the only TDI carbonio is for the TDI octavia. Now that has the air intake coming up from the depths of the nearside front wing. On the fabia that is not an option, so the air intake would have to somehow wrap around and go back to the stock place.

I'm sure it can be done, and I believe the ex-Star Performance fabia had one too.

BMC CDA thingie and I can route my air intake nicely because my battery is in the boot too.

mmmmm must have deleted the actual picture of it......but heres one of it from a distance.it's got a pipe going to where the normal air intake is.....couldn't tell you how i fitted it as someone done it when the turbo was put on.i will get a closer picture of it and round about it to show you though

What are the benefits of fitting that kind of air intake.?

Does it make "that" much difference.?
