ABS issue's :( Please Help....

Featured Replies

Hi guys and gals, need a bit of help with my 02 octy sdi classic.

My brakes have been playing up and under inspection i found a rear cylinder on the n/s/r had gone so i replaced it and went about bleeding the brakes...

loads of problems there but to cut to the chase i'm not getting any pressure to that wheel now, have checked all the lines and unfortunatly its the ABS module stopping the fluid from getting to just that wheel...

I've tried blowing it out with an air line and have also tried spinning the wheel whilst trying the brake but still nothing...

Any suggestions would be helpful!

thanks ~ Dan

Think you will need VAG-COM to bleed the ABS unit.

how exactly does vag com help the abs bleeding??????

this has been mentioned to me before but i just dont understand it..

VAG COM activates the ABS pump and opens the solenoid valves to allow the fluid through.

I take it you didnt clamp the flexi when you changed the wheel cylinder then?

will 409.1 do the job?? just looking on fleebay now...

Rather than buying a knock off, I suggest that you put a request out for somebody in your local area with a real tool to help you out in exchange for a few beers.
