After your recommendations for Collinite 476S wax I got some and used it and as mentioned previously am really impressed. Trouble is now every time it rains I find myself at the window marvelling at the beading and the way the water runs straight off in little rivulets. Wife recons I'm sad. Suppose you all agree?.:P:P

I always do this when I get in from work.....and never when washing the car.

lol, im also rather sad! i had waxed my car, used harlys wax tho, then it was raining so i want and stood outside and watched it a while, recently saw something on sheeting, but have a full tub of wax, so will be using that up first.

Well I know how sad I am. I suppose I wanted everyone to say "no you're not sad we all do it" Maybe more people do it than are prepared to let on!! Who knows?? LOL

(use those shoe polish sticks on your mirors if they arent colour coded and watch the beading on that its amazing! - and keeps that awful greying at bay)

Is it possible to use too much wax?? I have put a total of 3 very light coats on so far (Colly 476s )and it looks great. Does it need any further coat of anything ( Autoglym Extra gloss protection or anything?)

you could put something less durable but gives a nice shine on top but id say no much gain in any more coll
