Fabia 2000 car radio signal booster

Featured Replies

hi just wondered if anyone could recommend a signal booster for my car radio, its a blaukpunk one but receives very poor radio signal FM and does not receive any am or mw signal what so ever. this sucks because im a big sports fan and love 5 live but can never get it.

Basically im asking is there a simple way out there to pick up better signal, ive tried to change the ariel but this does nothing..

thanks

Got mine fitted for free at Halfords. Booster was around £8

Not sure what they'd charge for fitting as it involves cutting and splicing wires.

Only reason they fitted mine for free was cos' I'd bought the head unit days before and they'd fooked up the install and had to do it again. Works well now though.

It did have instructions, but you will need a multimeter of some kind. Didn't take long to fit either.

I doubt it'll be advertised on their website. I had to go in-store and ask about it.

wired via the positive feed and aerial plugs in unit and unit plug goes to stereo.Very simple job
