just had a question for all u guys who have changed their HU's to aftermarket ones

if you have parking sensors with the audible alert, do you lose the audible alert as well when u move from a stream HU to an aftermarket one

I have parking sensors on my mk1 octy vrs and have changed my head unit.

The parking sensors still beep through the rear right speakers but I have no idea how or where it's connected!

It's not the rear right speaker - it's a separate piezo speaker in the nearside B-Pillar. That's why it works even with aftermatket HU's

I wondered if it was the tweeter as that's mounted somewhere around there I believe?

Does anyone know if its possible to change the speaker for a louder one?
