Hi, I've just joined after a couple of weeks of browsing the site. I'm quite frankly astounded by the amount of information on here, it's a fantastic resource.

Where to begin? Well, just over a year ago I began learning to drive in my first car, a W reg Fabia 1.4 MPI Comfort, in 'distinctive' bright red Despite a few wee niggles here and there, that car did me well from when I got my licence in October. The characteristics of it impressed me enough to make me snap up (at considerable cost, since I'm a student...) my current '05 Fabia 1.9TDi Elegance. Love that car, but it's a work in progress at the moment There's something very nice about being 18 and having a car with heated seats, will do 60mpg AND is quicker than many of the modified Astras and Cavaliers (I live on the Isle of Lewis...) that my mates aspire to. Sad...
