hi folks

had my 06 fabia vrs for about a month now and ive replaced the air filter with a green cotton panel filter to start

im wanting to get it mapped, get a better clutch and possibly a s/s exhaust

wheres the best place to get it mapped and what clutch would you go for and what would the prices and power levels be

with regards to the exhaust should i just replace the backbox or should i get a full system

i had a look under the car and from what i can see theres no centre section, just a backbox and a cat

Exhaust - get a cat back, Magnex are very nice on the car and work out the cheapest at around £190

Remap wise since as your in Glasgow i'd recommend Star Performance as its just on your doorstep, my star map r/r'd at 173bhp and the power hung on well!

Clutch wise if your goal is only remapped power i'd go for the sachs that uses the OEM DMF! if you want more power i'd go for a stronger clutch that uses the SMF.

Im running a helix and SMF and love it :) Makes a fair old chatter though

my mates got an evo 2 with a uprated clutch and the noise is unreal lol

how much is the clutch

ps, i wish star performance was on my door step, its a good hour away from glasgow lol

My clutch and fly was £890 for the parts IIRC.

You can get a Sachs which uses the OEM DMF for a lot cheaper! Im sure Jabbasport does them
