Names for timewasters?

Featured Replies

I'm struggling to think of a name for someone who says they are going to turn up at a particular time to see your car for sale but never do, and doesnt have the common decency to give you a call to say they are no longer coming to have a looksy, then when you do finally call them after cancelling all your plans and waiting around for 2 hours and they answer, give some feeble excuse about trying to call you but couldn't get through?

I'm a little angry about this if you can guess!! 3rd time in 2 weeks tonight.

Any suggestions? I'll start with Moron.

Par for the course I'm afraid. Try to not let it bother you - one of the negatives of private car selling :thumbdwn:

If I was feeling particularly cynical, I'd term them the general public ;) - common decency and manners seem alien to an increasing number.

duplicitous is a good word for it :D

Not "timewasters": They're the ones who view and 'will have the money for you next week', and will still 'have the money next week' 6 weeks later!
