Cruise control from VRStu

Featured Replies

Just got back from Stu's having had cruise control fitted to my MKI RS.

Very pleased with the work done. Would highly recommend Stu to anyone in the south who fancies getting CC retrofitted to their Skoda.

ohhh how much??? pm me if you dont want to say publicly.

sounds good is it with genuine stork etc?

I thought he was using herons now - a lot cheaper but just as good :D:D

Yep its me, Stu won't mind as we operate together anyhow, I handle my area he does his.

Whats up with the t/b, might be able to help.

APS think its causing my 17705 fault as it wont re-align, but not cheap to replace unfortunately.

Whereabouts in Hampshire & whats the damage mate?

I'll PM the location.

Any restriction on what model Octy can be retrofitted? (I've a 1.6 GLXi)

1.6 is fine.

Not that I doubt you Stu but some of the earlier 1.6 8v engines have a throttle cable.

Thanks Ross. The info I have just says 1.6 is suitable, however as always the engine/chassis number etc should be checked.
