Having had 4 blissful years with my 130 Comfort, I leave it into the dealer for servicing, knowing it'll be my last, as i'm having a Red Exclusive, with wood, 170BHP 4X4, Black leather :D when it is released in here ireland (Yes, i've been drooling....) he goes and completely destroys my day by giving me a 10month old Scout  as a loaner, and mentions 'I could do you a REALLY foood deal on that' - what'a a boy to do? It pulls like a train.

Any idea when the 4X4 version of this is being released?

The "Scout" is a 4x4 if it is the Octavia you have got

Or if you mean Roomster Scout then it will never have 4x4, but yes as above the Octavia Scout has it standard.

Or does he mean, when is the 4x4 superb with the CRD going to be released in Ireland?

Here in Germany it is in the configurator already, although I dont know when the first ones will be at the dealers.

sorry all, it was an octavia scout - well impressed - pulls like a train, and has every goodie I could ever want!

Its the Superb 4X4 170 i'm getting really excited about now - I don't need the clearance the scout has to offer, but really liked the handling of the 4X4 and beautifully meshed gearbox - they worked SO well together.
