Windscreen scuttle cover.

Featured Replies

I ran an amp power cable through the firewall the other day and had to pull up the plastic scuttle thats fits over windscreen to get access to the grommit on the passenger side. I eventually got the cable into the car but when I'd finished I noticed the scuttle didn't fit tight to the screen again. Does anyone know how to go about re-sealing it again.

On most VAG cars they clip over a rail below the screen, so the Fabia is probably the same. Take it back off, clean the area, put it back- you'll see where it clips. It needs a bit of time and patience and gentle persusaion, which is why windscreen fitters mess them up.
