Fabia vrs coolant problem

Featured Replies

Ive got a problem with the coolant level on my fab vrs. Last week the temperature light came on, on the dash, i then checked the coolant level and it was below minimum. I then topped it up. This mornin the temperature light came on again and d coolant level is below minimum again. Ive only driven about 100 miles during the time that i topped up. Do you think that there might be a leak somewhere or something else that maybe causing it? Any suggestions would be grateful thanks

If the level is dropping you have a leak. My bet is the fan switch in the radiator.

I had a very similar problem and the radiator had to be replaced under warranty. I think a few others on here have had the same problem.....

I've seen a few rads changed and it was down to the rad fan switch actually leaking down the side of the rad. Skoda don't put a seal on them.
