Altering Vista 'Smart Folder' Locations

Featured Replies

Is there a simple method? I'm used to using XP's Powertoy TweakUI for this, but is there an MS equivalent for Vista? I've not seen one.

Basically I store user data on a drive separate to the main drive for apps/Windows. Always have done and it's come in very useful on more than one occasion when I've lost primary drives :)

So I need to point Vista to another location for Desktop, My Docs, Favourites etc.

Vista Home Prem, if it makes any odds.

Cheers,

Steve

Right click on teh folder go to properties and theres a "location" tab. just choose a new location and itll even copy all the existing stuff over if you want it to

i moved all mine to a separate drive :)
