Had a play with one of THESE today. It's a GPS based data-logger and I was interested in what my remap'd Furby is like with in-gear acceleration. I was quite pleased with 30-70 in 6.1s and 50-70 in 3.4s. It can also do 0-60, and monitor 'g' when cornering. If you set any position on a lap you can record and review your sessions too  The guy I borrowed it from does a lot of amateur rallying so it is pretty useful for him.

Seen these before, but never had a play with one due to the cost. Did remember seeing a guy doing it with a Wii remote and a laptop and always meant to try it - think this could be a project for today! :)

That Wii controller is going in my car!

so what did it do 0 to 60?

Dunno the exact figures, but my dragon'd furby certainly annoyed a lewis hamilton wannabe in one of those new swift sports t'other day.

Dunno, didn't do it. With FWD I aren't too bothered as it will always be compromised, but I wasn't too bothered even when I had my Scoob. 0-60 is no real gauge of a cars on-road abilities, and I was never a fan of the traffic-light GP. Went to watch the drag-strip thing once and was bored to tears. £10 and went home after 90 minutes.

I might contact the guy who lent me it and see if I can borrow it again to see.
