Sticking on the template

The cut out, I used a cordless drill then a sharp knife and a dremel for this, squeeky bum time cutting open the bumper

Once everything was cut you have to clean off the template, i kinda like just a hole!

Do you have a CAI And wanna inspect the filter without pulling it all apart? get one of these vents then

The filter was filfy so i had it off and cleaned it out.

I actuely went and brought some bonder as I felt the stuff supplied was not to good, I couldnt be botherd to sit their and hold the panel on for 20 mins so wedged some wood in

All finished, unfortunatly I slipped with the dremel and put a nick on the bottem right, some touch up paint sorted that!

Noice.....

is that to let the air out, or in?

Out, the right hand side one is right behind the SMIC so is useful, the left hand side is by the CAI so cool air is kind of rammed thro the front vents past the CAI/SMIC and then str8 out the bay rather then sitting their

Top,top job mate. Don't know if I'd have the balls to hack a big hole in my bumper!!!!

As above. Can it be mounted with vents other way to let in a little more air, or is its purpose to let out warm air [as well as inspecting filter]..

Edited.... already answered question by time I'd posted...

well if you mount them the wrong way around they will only work when reversing!,, If you have the milotec lower grills that are mesh then the air is rammed from them and then str8 out thro these and the holes on the wheel liner, the SMIC and CAI's sit to far forward for these vents to hit them as the vents would be on the corners if they did.

what they do is stop hot air just building up as you drive air is pushed out of them, they actuely work aswell we put a temp gauge under the bonnet before and after the differance was 15 so yea and i think they look alright to boot so happy
