Just curious as to what people have ordered.

Financial contraints mean I've had to go for a manual gearbox instead of DSG, but I'm curious to see what the split is.

Also for the engine type, and trim level.

I suspect it will be overwhelming 170TDI Elegance DSG, but who knows.

Bagpuss.

I'm gonna get shot here, but I don't think I will be getting one, not to say it's not got the signs of being a good car, but I like the look and feel of my one more than the new one.

If I did order one it'd be a Diesel SE DSG.

In many ways, all of us who've placed orders are taking a bit of a chance. Based on what I've seen so far, I'm happy to do so.

Maybe you'll feel differently once you've had chance to look at, and more importantly, drive a RHD model.

One thing is certain, it's a whole lot of car for the money, but the new version doesn't represent the same amazing value proposition that the old one did. Let face it, if you like what you've got, why change?

i have to agree with you bagpuss....i have a black facelift comfort model and fitted with a single din blaupunkt sat nav 55 with chrome buttons and chrome edges which in my opinion matches the chrome in the comfort model....although being an absolute beggar to clean being black...the car gets lots of looks and occasional comments.....and although ive only had the car a yr , it is very tempting to go to the dealer and say i want to px this for the new SE version of the new superb, but like you say, if your happy with the car and it does exactly what you want it to do, then why get rid of it?

unless of course i win the lottery...then yes maybe i will px it for the new model,,,,,,and its on this assumption that i havent won the lottery so therefore im gonna keep my cruiser and wait for maybe a cppl of yrs and hopefully get a low mileage elegance new superb with all the toys....if it turns up that is hehe
