Anyone got any tips on how to safely drill through the firewall?

I'm thinking of running several wires + boost gauge tubing through as I'm not too happy with their present location, and I've tried to use factory hood cable, etc with no real success.

I ran mine on the passenger side, there are two grommits into the cabin. I drilled a hole in the middle and feed them throuigh

Inside to out ive always done, but you run the risk of hitting anything either way!

Have you found the grommets on the passneger side Bas? they drop right into the car behind the glovebox

Thanks Ross - IIRC that one is full of wires..I was thinking that if someone could do a guide to grommet locations and their access, would save a lot of searching/experimenting..

I wonder if it's very different LHD/RHD cars, or they're the same from a grommet location point of view....
