Anyone know how to reset the service warning on 02 sdi fabia, a friend has lent me a vag 5053 but has gone on holiday and wont be back for 3 weeks, the car had a service a week before it suddenly came on. The dealer has said they will rectify the problem, ie turn it off but they are 200 miles away (i had it serviced on holiday) and the cost is prohibative.

Has anyone used these diagnostic tools before and know how to do the job?

You dont need that to reset the service indicator, instructions on how to reset it yourself using the trip reset button should be in the owners manual.
