when im liserning to a cd when i put my foot down it gets louder when i slow down it goes quiter??? any ideas thanks

its a function on the cd called GALA (SPEED-DEPENDANT VOLUME ADJUSTMENT)

You can turn it off just look at page 12-13 (GB section) of the cd player manual

the cd player is making itself heard over the engine..... the wee pixies inside crank up the volume the faster you drive..... its magic.....
