Rear Seatbelts - 3x 3 Point?

Featured Replies

Sorry to start so many thread with so many questions but I know very little about Fabias apart from the fact I want one for my wife to drive our two kiddies around.

What year did the Fabia get three full three point seatbelts? The dealer I saw today wasted our time by giving me false info. I really want to avoid this and I only have this week to locate a car for her. Any help will be gratefully received.

TIA

Nick....

Hello,

My vRS is a 54 reg and it has the 3 point middle seat belt, but there were a few changes during this year (different rear lights and a few things), so I would say 55 reg and onwards.

Edit: They have always had two full belts, just not the centre one, but if you only have 2 children, it souldn't matter, (unless you are going to carry more)

my 04 has a proper middle belt, i think it was an option :)

My 06 plate has 3 'proper' belts. I run my two kids around in mine, one's in a proper child seat and the other one in a booster seat and there isn't any room for anything else so I wouldn't worry too much about the third belt.

SWMBO's is an 04 reg and only has a lap belt.

my previous '04 was pre facelift and had a lap in the centre but my new one has the proper belt in the middle

I'm pretty certain the full 3 point centre seatbelt became standard on the facelift approx 54 reg onwards cars.

HTH

Cheers

Dave.
