I'm new to the forum and also don't know too much about cars......

My Fabia vRS is 4.5 years old and has just done 60,000 miles. I've been quoting around asking for an inclusive price for the 60,000 mile service and replacement of the Cam Belt. Most dealership quotes were around the £550 - £600 mark, but Croyde Motors have quoted me £400 for the both.

I'm thinking this is really good, but am I missing anything - lots of people are mentioning water pumps and all sorts - do I need to check if this is included in the price, and do I really need a new pump?

Any help greatly appreciated........

Can anyone help me on this one - car is due in on Monday and am not too sure what to do!

i got my best mate mechanic do mine pro bono but he charges £200 - £250 for the belt and £80 for the service
