New Octavia 11 L&K owner (almost)

I found this site whilst researching the octavia 2, and I'm buying a 2.0 TDI PD140 L&K Estate with the DSG gearbox. its an '06 model on a 55 plate with 62,000 on it. I need a car that is more economical than my current car a BMW 530d auto touring. I have test driven an elegance with same engine and gearbox and also the new vRS with the DSG gearbox. I do too many miles to buy a new car approx 30k per year at moment.

I'm amazed at the boot size - it's almost 50% bigger with the seats up!

Dear Experts , Can anybody advice me what is the part about i.e side airbag or earthing ? This part is located near seat belt tensioner ( passenger front side on pillar of car,) two images are attached for info, image1 from YouTube shows big connector connecting two wires bit unclear picture, 2nd image is taken from my car shows some kind of adapter (843 ) not sure what it is connecting which is different from 1st image , not sure if any connection has been missed out to it is earthi

Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?

I have always thought my rear suspension a little soft when towing or even with a full tank. I fitted rubber assisters and this has helped hugely but I would like a little more permanent solution. How can I tell if springs such as these - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lesjofors/9735347 are heavier duty? It does say for towing. Would fitting new shocks (Bilstein B6?) help as well? I suppose crawling under to see what shocks I have, and what springs I have may a good idea anyway? I think the

Hi all, I have a Superb III Sedan (L&K) and recently retrofitted the original foldable/swivelling tow bar. The installation is complete, but I’m missing the boot trim panel that contains the tow bar release access flap and the status LED. I’m trying to identify the correct OEM trim part number and, if necessary, the associated wiring/connector. I'm looking for some advice or shared experiences regarding a major infotainment issue I encountered today. My car is a 2020 Skoda Octavia MK4 Combi (1.0 TSI), currently out of warranty. While driving, the infotainment system started "acting possessed." It began with random reboots, followed by severe "ghost touching"—the menu jumps around, music turns on and off, and I hear constant phantom clicking sounds as if someone is tapping the screen rapidly.
