Is £287 a bit OTT for a standard yearly (80k) service. Have paid this before and felt taken for a ride. Then they want £306 on top for a cam belt change on my 55 plate 3yr old Fabia VRS? Skoda dealer in Halifax.

Otherwise - changing a headlight bulb today I noticed some Skoda Tech has cross thread the headlamp height adjuster cog till it just slides straight off. Nice for them to tell me when they did it.............and it was not me! So where do I find the part numbers for those bits of nylon. Must say some of the plastic clips under the bonnet are so brittle and just snap off...
