Fabia Mud Flaps (again!)

Featured Replies

I know there have been a few other threads on this topic that I've managed to find. So I apologise for starting a new thread about it!

But is it correct from what I hear that the OEM mud flaps are no good? Why does this seem to be the general consensus on them? Are they not wide or long enough to effectively flap mud?

I've looked into the alternative 'rally flapz' but these seem to only for VRS and couldn't discover if they fit a normal new fabia sport. I must say, I don't like the thought of PVC material 'flapping' whilst driving. :P

I'm thinking of buying some OEM flaps. Opinions please.

Are they easy to fit or do you have to drill holes? Thanks

i fitted the factory opition ones onto my white fabia, made a great deal of difference. kept the car alot cleaner on these wet days. easy to fit aswell, just unscrew the screws holding the under arch plastic to the car and match up the holes with the ones on the flaps. took me about 15mins to do all 4.

Can you order them on line? Thanks again and what were the first mentioned types to fit if anyone knows?

Had std flaps fitted alround on my white sport, they fit very snug to the body work, (unlike the ford ones I had on my previous Focus) certainly seem to keep the sides clean, but you will never keep the back of the car clean! its a hatchback problem.

there you go, just phone you local dealer and collect, dont think they do internet sales but i could be wrong.

I tried to locate internet sales without success.

Message to Skoda UK

'Why do you not seem to have an internet sales service for such items. I happen to be a reasonable distance from the local dealer and would be more than happy to pay for postage?'

Grasmere Car spares do the Fabia mudflaps for about £19 front and £19 back including p & P

Got the front ones and it takes about ten minutes to fit , best put stearing on full lock makes the task easier
