Please could someone with a Fabia do me a favour and measure the back of their car for me...??

I need to transport a bonnet in the back of a Fabia (with the seats down/out obviously) but its 1.2m x 1.4m. Will need to go in on the tilt clearly, but can anyone confirm if it will fit??

I can get 48" (1220mm) long items to fit front to back and 36" (915mm) without any trouble widthways. Tilting will help but the tailgate aperture is still only around 1100mm 'across corners' so I don't think you'll get it in either way round unfortunately.

If you know someone your way with roof bars they're not too much of a job to fit temporarily, but you'd probably be better off finding someone with a bigger car/van!

I got a fabia bonnet flat in the back of a fabia, but that probably doesn't help.
