Hi Fellow Skoda Owners

Just bought myself a '04 Fabia vRS 1.9TDi.

Very happy with the test drive, pick it up from the dealship in two weeks time.

I'm not new to Skoda Ownership as the misses bought a '99 Felicia from new (serviced and maintained by yours truly).

I'm a great fan of VAG cars, currently run a Audi S6 Avant (have owned various other Audi's in the past).

The only options it hasn't got is Xeon and SatNav.

It has FSH, summer and winter tyres

I can't get over how torquey the engine is esp 2nd & 3rd, very quick as well. I also like the idea of 45+ mpg

This is also the first diesel car I have owned.

Indeed this really is an excellent site - loads to read and digest!

Can't wait to take proper delivery of the car (it needs a service, spare wheel was missing, I noticed a very, very small rust bubble on the tailgate - this is getting sorted properly - this all helped me get a better price as well)

The only concern I have is that the mileage is above average for the age? 130k KM - or is this normal? Belt was changed a tad before the 120k mark.

Opps...2 years since I last posted here (sorry)

Car was going a treat up untill last week - split water hose, new one has been ordered.

Have since fitted a lowering kit from DPM Performance and been keeping up with the servicing. I have also fitted a set of Green Stuff brake pads.
