"what engine is it. i can see a diesel as i can see the Tdi badge" i said

"yep thats right its the ...er its the ..erm its the 2 litre diesel"

muppet !!

anyway - 10am tomorrow i get to test drive. it was elegance spec and as far i could see from sitting it it was standard with no options...not even the auto dim mirror ...think they had forgotten to order it.

i think the twin door is very impressive...very clever engineering

anway- more reports after i have driven it

Well looks like my car wont be with me till the end of the month beginning of October, however one cloud had a silver lining. Got to drive the New Superb for two whole hours and what did I think. Very very nice indeed:) far better than I anticipated. The model was a 2ltr 170 Elegance with DSG gearbox. First opportunity I have had a chance to drive a DSG Auto box and I was very impressed with it. Steering is far more positive when compared to the Mk 1 Superb. So really looking forward to mine arriving

"Saw" a new superb today in the showroom at delmore cars(inverness) but it was pretending to be a ghost... lol (it was hiding under a sheet..... )

What is the point of hiding it under a sheet if it is the only one at the garage?

You're going to be forever taking the sheet on and off, plus what if someone wants to drive it.

dunno..... bit daft... seems they are waiting to "reveal" it on thursday.....

(not sure if its the only 1 there) was a 2.0TDi (140 i think)
