KW's V3 Settings?

Featured Replies

I have just bought a set of V3 and am wondering what's the best setting for them. I know it will vary from driver to driver but just want to get a good setting for the moment.

Does anyone know who can set these up correctly in Ireland. Want to get this done when the funds allow.

This is one reason I went for the V2s on my old car, only one setting to adjust.

You will find getting the balance right between bump and rebound very difficult, adjust one setting and it will affect the other. Make adjustments in small amounts and see what that does to both ride and handling and take it from there.

get them set up by a pro on scales. corner weighting is essential to get the most out of them.

they will need settign fro road and track seperately.

Would love to get them set on scales but don't know anywhere is Ireland that does it.

There are plenty of rally boys over your way who will either use a tuner or have their own equipment. Perhaps take a look at some rally forums and ask around or ask on some irish car forums as they are likely to know the best places.

I will post my set-up when I get home from work and find the sheet I noted it all down on.

Basically i found them rubbish out the box with all the valves in the suggested middle setting. Both ride quality and wet grip was not good.

After getting very fed up with the ride i decided to soften the set-up and this made it grip like I couldn't believe and gave a much better ride comfort.

Just found a thread I started a while back for this very reason - Nobody replied tho. Here's my set-up and works great on both the road and track (Nurburging)
