Any Briskoda members install MFD2 - For nominal charge of course

Featured Replies

I like the look of the MFD2 upgrade - I think it certainly adds a very modern look to the cabin.

The built-in Sat Nav would alone be excellent, but the other features look good too.

Saying that - is the Sat Nav on the MFD2 OK?

I use a Tom Tom at the moment - but I can usually cope with an interface change and I like the idea of an integrated unit rather than something added to the dash like the Tom Tom.

I see the going rate for the MFD2 Skoda (Green) units seems to be around £300 - £350.

OK, not pocket money but also not too bad a price.

The only thing is - I've looked at the installation guide, it doesn't seem too bad but I'll be honest, I really wouldn't fancy doing it myself.

Are there any Briskoda members that are willing to do MFD2 installs - if the car, the MFD2 unit and nominal charge are supplied?

Not sure if this kind of request is against the forum rules.

I'm potentially interested in the item - just wouldn't want to buy if I couldn't find somebody to do the fit :)

I'm sure there are lots of people who will help you out if you aren't confident yourself although it really is quite easy.

If you were more local to me I'd do it for nothing, as long as you were a Freedom member of course :D

Well I was thinking of Freedom Membership anyway to help keep the site running and you aren't that far away - the vRS would soon eat up those miles! :)

I've read through your guide on installing the MFD2.

It isn't really the physical fitting part that worries me too much - well I say that, it is scary attacking the dash etc.

It's the post install, coding, attaching bit that really worries.

I can see me getting it all physicaly installed possibly, but it is at that stage I would be stuck.
