who's bringing VAG com to TRAX?

Featured Replies

because with my new private servicing, I'll need my "oil" service reminder resetting! Its just started coming on again, and I've no intention of going to my main dealer for the service!

Jason, if you don't get any takers give me a shout next time you're in the Midlands and I'll arrange to be up there and do it for you :)

Weekend of TRAX then, Chris - I plan to make a full weekend in the Leics vicinity! I think Rooboy is gonna be at TRAX, so will have to sweet talk him into using VAG COM on my car.. again. ;) I know he loves being sweet talked! :o

Seem to recall their is a non-VAGCOM way of resetting the service indicator - not sure whether it would apply to the Fabia though...

ooooh eeerrr!!! I can certainly bring it with me, although if you read the manual it will tell you how to do it manually.

Jonno

what - TRAX is a car club / brand enthusiasts get together - Briskoda attending this year for the first time.

Where- Silverstone

When - Sunday 5th September, I'm sure I recollect...

Check out the events section for a huge thread dedicated to it. Oh, and I think the opportunity for stand tickets / track time has passed, but nothing stopping you attending as a visitor and popping down to the stand!

Cheers, from another Leic lad (was...)

Oh, here's the link to save time: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9333 :D

thanks jason.

will try to make the meet, and will definatley go to the briskoda stand.

question: why do people always go on about you, cars, and being upsidedown. i'm fairly new on briskoda, so i've obviously missed something.

cheers jonno.

No, I was fine, and the only damage to my wallet will be insurance premiums for the next couple of years... not looking forward to December now. :(

They certainly are it knocked the 3 pasting tables on the roof to fall off and cause all this damage, must use a normal bucket and sponge next time :D

You know that ride you gave me in the superb from the RPM tour last year was actually really rough... That superb was the most uncomfortable car I've ever been unlucky enough to ride in. And no, I wasn't falling asleep in the back due to the serene silence and palacial seating - I was merely keeping my eyes closed so I didn't have to look at the ghastly interior! :P Thats better!

(kidding BTW ;))

ADE! I followed your instructions this morning, and the car caught fire...

only kidding - it worked first time, even with my hand written version of your note, and I'm now planning on putting that note in with my owners handbook for future reference! Yet again, Briskoda comes to the aid and teaches a numpty Fabia owner a new trick!

just a note to octy and superb thats on variable servicing do not use the clocks as descrided above as it will set the service interval back to fixed servicing.
