Jamex Coilovers

Featured Replies

Can anyone comment on the Jamex coilovers? How do these compare ride wise to having:

  1. Eibach springs/FSDdampers
  2. KW coilovers

Also, Jamex seem to do 2 ranges:

Skoda Fabia Coilover lowering springs shock kit 150112 on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 20-Oct-08 12:48:16 BST)

and

Jamex Coilover Suspension Kit Skoda Fabia (180025)Links on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 27-Sep-08 20:55:58 BST)

any thought on these? Seem good value as they have a 2yr warranty and the cheaper ones appear to be stainless steel.

Just looking into some options for my vRS estate i'm building

Alex

i had some on my golf VR6, they seemed ok, but failed after about 5 months and the adjusters seized..... i sold the car so never bothered getting them sorted under warranty....they were very bouncy, but were right down, and the bump stops split.

cheap and nasty..... there a budget version of VMAX i think.... and there a budget coilover anyway.

I still maintain that vmaxx, jamex, ta technix, ebay kits... theyre all the same whatever the marketing people say IMHO
