Just saw the first batch of Superb's delivered here in our country,Malta,love the car's interior space and mature styling , limo space for a bargain price , didn't like the exterior door handles though,look like aftermarket items fitted , I have one question to ask whwther it's silly or not i don't know :confused: ,the car seems to have no exterior key barrels on either front doors or tailgate.If a battery goes flat how can the car be opened as this can only be done with the key fob ?,are there any battery back ups for the lock system ?.

The key barrel is hidden in the right hand end of the drivers door handle.

When you pull the handle, you will see a little key sized slot. You insert the key in there, and it releases the flap, exposing the key hole. It's the same arrangement fitted to the current Passat.
