Just started driving this Octavia I TDi Estate Ambiente '04 plate.

It starts OK but I don't see a Glow Plug warning light when starting from cold, and reading the owner's manual this could be a fault involving a trip to the dealer? Exactly where is it on the dashboard display please? There is no picture of its location in the manual.

Upper right quadrant of the rev counter, roughly between the needle pivot and the 40. It only illuminates for a couple of seconds, so you just may be missing it.

No light, so something's potentially up. Like what?

I'm thinking of getting to grips now with vag-com to find what it is. Something I expect the dealer would do first anyway (and make a charge for the diagnosis?)
